This is great info Al with some interesting statistics. Is it still valid today? I'd like to know what time frame this data was collected from. I would imagine these figures could change over time. I'll start doing similar research on the Aussie 200 index. I would think 12 months would be a good sample size and used as an average with new data added and old data dropped as time progresses.

Hello, I was wonderinf if anyone could answer a couple questions for me. I have tried to email their site directly but have never gotten a response. I am very interested in the course but am not able to day trade. I will be looking to swing trade days/weeks at a time. Has anyone found success trading like this using the course? Are there like minded traders in the forum? I just want to be sure there will be support in that aspect before spending the $400 on the course and then just be stuck figuring it out on my own. Appreciate any feed back!

To take the smartest trading wisdom one could ever get: don't trade against the prevailing trend/momentum. This man is violating that basic rule using a demo account. It is great that he got winners but those trades had a higher probability of being absolute tragedies.

Those full risk losses hurt. Even with a 70% accuracy taking a loss like that especially if you are averaging down at the wrong time can destroy your day easily….. sometimes it even destroys your week or month if you lose discipline.

bar 26 is formed after a parabolic wedge then there should be more buyers above the bar 26 rather than sellers? plz correct me brad.

What software are you using that counts the bars?

1:00:47-1:03:50 if a bear can make 5 points (the market falls 22 ticks) on a stop below a bar, it's probably no longer a strong bull trend. Better to buy pullbacks and no longer worth buying at the highs. 1:04:58-1:06:32 Whenever you get 3-5 strong bull bars in the first hour or so (several strong attempts to rally) and then a bear breakout, usually the bear breakout is not going to last all day (bear trend unlikely, trading range more likely). 1:06:40 When it's always-in long, any time you get a pullback and then a bull bar closing near its high you can buy more. 1:08:30 2+ gaps (even body/negative gaps) in the first couple of hours, it increases the chance that the trend will last all day. The reason negative gaps are still strong is because the bodies do not overlap the breakout point, and the line chart plots closes, so there is still a gap on the line chart. 1:11:47 Whenever the market breaks out of something, there's usually some kind of a test. Sometimes the test does not get very close at all to the breakout point. 1:12:27 the more bull bars we get, the more likely the day will be a bull trend day or trading range day.
